Maison Martin Margiela x House of Harlot AW13 at Paris Fashion Week
The team at House of Harlot were thrilled to produce the latex pieces for this years Autumn Winter Collection on behalf of the design team at Maison Martin Margiela. Florence Druart from House of Harlot went over to Paris to help with the show and was excited to note that the outfits in latex were the first three looks for the entire show. Brilliant!
Here you can see their witty take on the standard blue jean, staple of all wardrobes and now created in blue latex, teamed with a long latex coat. The latex blue jeans are as versatile as the regular fabric ones and work brilliantly with an oversized, draped latex jacket.
All of the models wore the signature face masks, a feature of all Maison Martin Margiela shows, this time with a distinctly Leigh Bowery feel. Here the blue jeans are worn with an elegant draped latex top.

You can find a full report of the whole show in Harpers Bazaar and there’s a good commentary on the Never Underdressed fashion blog.
Huge thanks to all the team at Maison Martin Margiela, it was a real pleasure working with them on such a fantastic collection!
