House of Harlot Showcased at the V&A Museum in 'A Brief History of Underwear' exhibition!
It's super exciting for House of Harlot to be a part of this amazing exhibition, 'A Brief History of Underwear', showcased by the V&A Museum! It tells the history of underwear design from the 18th century to modern times and how it delves into the secret detailed relation between underwear, fashion and its role in moulding the body to a fashionable ideal.
Underclothes have also influenced outer wear. Nightwear has morphed into lounge wear and garments such as corsets, crinolines and slips have been recast by fashion designers to challenge convention and explore the dynamic relationship between body and clothing. - V&A Museum
