House of Harlot at the Marc Jacobs Fashion Show in NYC!
Last night in New York on Valentine’s Day, Marc Jacobs showed his Fall 2011 collection, and it is beautiful! Marc chose House of Harlot to collaborate on some stunning latex pieces for the collection, and five of those pieces were on the first five looks to storm the catwalk. House of Harlot had created an entirely new latex look for Marc Jacobs, two versions of sequins, or Paillette, and the texture and sound of this latex was used to create skirts dresses and a tee-shirts.
An astonishing set in padded sky-blue PVC was the backdrop to 63 looks, which are now splashed across the fashion press of the world. Robin (now former company owner) from House of Harlot was in New York for the 3 days run up to the show for final fittings, and on hand back stage to assist with the latex garment dressing. Marc Jacobs actually wore a House of Harlot mens latex shirt for the show! And he rocked!
